About this event
Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for ‘community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of community’. Our weekend of action involves local people sharing skills, connecting communities and creating tiny revolutions.
Our Fun Palace is free, local, inclusive and for all ages.
On Saturday 3rd October at 3.00pm, join a creative family workshop including dance, movement, exploration and creative writing, led by Suzie West. To finish, there will be a silent disco – Plug Back Into Your Roots.
This event is entirely outdoors. Tickets are limited for each performance to ensure we can maintain appropriate social distancing and ensure all visitors enjoy their experience. We can only allow bookings for groups up to a maximum of 6 people.
This is a free event, which does not include museum entry. If you would like to visit the museum, please book those tickets separately here.
Or, take part from home!
You can take part from home, in your garden or whilst out enjoying nature. Some of our local artists have shared great ideas for creative writing, art work and dance. Find them here: https://www.wheal-martyn.com/our-proud-roots
