About this event
Ever dreamt of becoming your own boss?
Starting your own business can mean having the freedom to work the hours you choose, doing something you feel passionate about and building something that is completely your own.
But in the wake of a global pandemic and in the midst of a recession, is going it alone the right decision?
The team at Outset are Cornwall’s business start-up experts and have been providing fully-funded, award-winning support to people wanting to start a business of go self-employed for over 10 years.
This 1-hour webinar will explore:
• The benefits of starting a business
• The barriers you may face
• The opportunities the pandemic has presented and how businesses are pivoting to address changing consumer behaviour
• The business start-up support and finance options available to you from Outset Cornwall and Outset Finance.
We will also be joined by Truro-based entrepreneur Cassie Davey, who started her business Tall & Beautiful Clothing during lockdown. She will share her challenges and successes including raising over £10,000 via Crowdfunder to launch her clothing brand.
Cornwall needs innovative and creative new businesses now, more than ever, and we hope you’ll join us to see why this is the perfect time to explore your business idea.
This event will be recorded and available to view afterwards if you cannot attend.
