Explore the world of hand cut paper art with artist Debs Martin in this half-day workshop.

To coincide with her exhibition “All About The Coast”, come and explore the world of hand-cut paper art and gain an insight into the work of Debs Martin.

You will be taught about cutting techniques with a scalpel and how to do it safely! How to know what to cut and where not to cut, to create a stencil for repeat patterns, and how to layer paper colours. You will take home a 10″x8″ handmade piece of mounted artwork ready for framing.

Debs Martin is a paper cut artist who sells brightly coloured hand-cut art in galleries around Cornwall under the name “Cornish Paper Cut Art”. She started in 2013 after completing a UAL Diploma in Art and Design in Nottingham as a mature student and then moving to Cornwall where she was inspired to start designing paper cut artwork based on Cornish themes and colours.
