About this event
My works are the product of an alchemical combination of art, science and mysticism. Electrochemical reactions between metals and minerals result in the emergence of stunning and unusual combinations of colours, textures and forms that surprise myself, the facilitator of the works. The works evolve and change over time – hours, days, weeks and even years. They are works that evoke reflection and contemplation. Some works have been ‘fixed’ to stop the reactions, whilst others are allowed to continue their processes of change. Some works look like paintings even though no paint or brush strokes have been used in their creation. Works are in both two and three dimensions, the process of change over time adds another dimension, that of the fourth dimension.
