About this event
My work is rooted in my rustic Cornish surroundings, from the St Agnes clay I use, to the simple shapes and muted natural colours. You will find me at work in the studio in our garden, situated at the bottom of our English apple orchard. Here I have my wheel and electric kiln, which is powered by renewable energy. I make my own glazes and slips (liquid coloured clay), which means I can avoid harmful chemicals, as well as adapt processes to suit my natural style.
I run occasional workshops from this space also, and you are very welcome to have a look around and enquire about this.
You will be able to see a selection of my work, as well as plenty of pieces in progress. I would be delighted to answer any questions and tell you about the process if you are interested. On a sunny day, you are welcome to wander outside, or sit for a cup of tea.
