About this event
Phil paints with oils on canvas in his contemporary studio which is nestled in a valley, equidistant between Penzance and Gurnards Head. His bold brush strokes and palette knife marks capture the layers of the land and the sea that surround him. Set in a colourful Azalea garden and with horses grazing in a paddock just opposite, the location is idyllic.
There is parking for up to 6 cars in the main yard. Cream teas available on request.

Crankan Studio is on one level, however there is one step up to the main entrance.
Directions
Directions from Penzance: Take the B3311 signposted St Ives, then left signposted New Mill, then right signposted New Mill. After approximately 2 miles at the bottom of Gear Hill, take the lane adjacent to Chapel Brook Cottage, then first left.
