About this event
Resin is a marvellous medium for jewellery. Lightweight and durable it polishes to a glasslike finish, yet unlike glass can be worn all day.
Originally a historical miniaturist, one of the Rosie Duck team, I have been making jewellery since moving back to West Cornwall, the land of my grandparents, 15 years ago.
I incorporate many miniature aspects into my jewellery, working in layers to achieve a 3 dimensional effect: in a pendant translucent jellyfish swim sleepily through the seaweed, gulls fly over the rough sea encased in a rough crystal ring, a galaxy shimmers in a hare’s belly, a black cat stares up at the iridescent moon in a beautiful pair of earrings.
Do come and take a look.
