About this event
Cornish artist, Jenni Hosen (nee Ryan), grew up as a Hayle girl but has lived and worked in Truro for over 30 years.
Since picking up the paint brush a relatively short time ago, and having taken early retirement in the autumn of 2019, Jenni then used her new found skills to sell paintings, prints and cards to help raise money for local charities during the pandemic, in particular for Cornwall Hospices Care.
Jenni started off with sketching, watercolour and pen, then moved onto to acrylics and oils. She is now regularly undertaking commissions.
Although she’ll have a go at painting any subject, her heart lies in the power of the sea, stunning Cornish sunsets, local landscapes, and the general beauty of light in nature.
When visiting her studio you’ll be able to meet Jenni and see her journey, from early works to current day, with the opportunity to buy cards, prints and originals or discuss commission ideas.
On-road estate parking available nearby or just a 10/15 minute walk from the centre of Truro.

Sloping brick path with two steps at bottom, then flat path around side of property leading to garden studio with one step to enter.
Directions
From Tregolls Road, pass Alverton Manor on the left, turn left at traffic lights into Trevithick Road, then second right into Uplands Crescent, first right into Midway Drive. When you reach an S bend, park where you can. Wrought iron gate No 12.
