Join Playwright Sarah Connors to explore aspects of writing for a live performance.
The workshop will explore character, dialogue, avoiding the dreaded exposition and much more to set you on the right tracks for writing for the stage.
Sarah Connors is a playwright living in Cornwall. In 2019, she stepped away from a career in education to fulfil a long-held ambition to be a playwright. Since then, Sarah has have been shortlisted for the Papatango Playwriting Prize, Phil Fox Award, Nick Darke Cornish Award and the Theatre 503 International Playwriting Award for my play Pushing on Open Doors. The Bush Theatre have sponsored me to take part in Sphinx 30 Lab – a groundbreaking scheme championing women playwrights. This year, her debut play, Tre, was performed across Cornwall to sell out audiences.

Our venue is on the ground floor, with a ramp access from outside. There is no onsite carpark and no designated disabled parking on the road. However, do contact us if you need a suggested drop off point, or other parking suggestions. There is an accessible toilet
