About this event
Free Creative Writing Workshop: Create powerful, evocative stories from the landscape, objects and people around you. In this session, we will explore how our experiences and reactions to the unfamiliar can be combined with the foundations of storytelling to spark creativity in our writing. This workshop is suitable for beginners or more experienced writers looking for inspiration and guidance. The work created can form the basis of a longer piece.
The Tutor: M A Packman is a fiction writer based in Cornwall. He is published in the Lightship International Prize Winners’ Anthology, the Dark Lane Anthology Vol. 7 and Vol. 8, the Unlost journal, in the small press and online. He has also been shortlisted for the Fish Short Story Prize 2020, and longlisted for the Fish Prize for Flash Fiction, the Cambridge International Short Story Prize and the TSS International Flash 400 Prize. He is represented by Sophie Lambert at C&W Agency.
