About this event
I love experimenting with different shapes and making sure my pots feel good in your hand. I make my own glazes and am drawn to calm tones. For my speckled stoneware I use a transparent glaze to enhance the speckles in the clay.
I recently started experimenting with using wild clay & sea glass as a glaze. I love how these materials make every pot totally unique and create a strong connection with the various locations I found them.
My studio is filled with cups, bowls, plates, vases, candleholders etc. You’ll see them in all the different stages of the making process. When you visit I’ll be working in my studio, either throwing or trimming pots on the wheel or glazing or loading the kiln. There’s always something going on and you can ask me anything about the process. You could also go for a little walk to Castle an Dinas.
