About this event
The future of the UK’s only full-time professional concert choir has been much in the news in recent months, so we are particularly delighted to welcome the BBC Singers to Truro in their centenary year. They will perform choral favourites linked to the life, enthusiasms and poetry of Sir John Betjeman, who loved Cornwall and who died 40 years ago at his home in Trebetherick. The concert will be hosted by Hall for Cornwall trustee and BBC presenter, Petroc Trelawny, who will also read a selection of Betjeman’s poems.
