About this event
The workshop runs for 2.5 hours – 10.30am til 1pm. It includes all materials including Helen’s hand printed linen fabric.
Suitable for all levels, Helen will demonstrate a step by step approach allowing you to work at your own speed. Plenty of time for questions and lots of top tips to get that professional finish.
If you would prefer to use plain, unprinted linen – just let us know.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided during the lampshade workshop.
“Learning how to make a lampshade is so satisfying”, says Helen. “You start with a flat rectangular shaped piece of fabric and can’t imagine quite how you are going to turn it into a beautiful shade with crisp tidy edges. After just a short time, you realise it’s going to be one of those things that you just want to do again…that’s why we make two lampshades during the workshop!”
