About this event
You are invited to contribute a fabric patch or panel to become part of a large collective ‘Story Shelter’.
Aim – To create a Safe Haven, a Story Shelter to welcome a stranger to Cornwall.
What is it? – The Shelter will be composed of a series of fabric panels made by individuals or groups using recycled fabrics. The completed panels will be gathered and transformed into a tent. Each fabric panel will tell the story of the maker.
How will you make it? – The panels will be created in various ways; you don’t need to be an expert at sewing. Be bold and be brave! Head to the Wildworks website for dimensions and further instructions or email [email protected]
Who is it for? Everyone! The tent will be on public display in October 2024.
Can I get involved? – YES. Everyone can get involved either by taking part in a group setting or by making your own patch at home.
When? – The panels and patches need to be finished and sent by Wednesday 31st July 2024.
How do I get them to you? – Drop off to our collection basket situated in the Hall for Cornwall, Lemon Quay Café or post to Bec Applebee at Wildworks, Hall for Cornwall, Back Quay, Truro, TR1 2LL.
